Repeat Offence: GTA 5...Coming Soon

In the gritty real world of urban street crime, rival gangs and gangsters battle it out for definitive ascendancy. However, within the virtual planet of urban street crime, just one name reigns supreme: Grand Theft Auto.

Now, with a new instalment intended for September 2013, the run is as durable as always. GTA V will feature an artificial world so big that the open worlds of earlier instalments GTA IV, Grand theft auto: San Andreas and perhaps Western adventure Red Dead Redemption possibly will all fit comfortably inside its borders. As if that was not sufficient, the digital world of GTA 5 even has its own ecosystem plus the whole ocean floor could be mapped and explored (if the player fancies a bit of a rest from killing people, that is). The level of detail and craftsmanship that Rockstar Games has gone to this time around is just stunning.

Grand theft auto V follows the wicked misadventures of three characters, each of whom are operated through the player at any time. When you choose a brand new participant, the screen zooms upwards; ‘Google Earth’ type and plummets back off toward the site of our selected ne’er-do-well.

Other than that, almost every aspect of GTA 5 is overhauled. A vastly improved combat system (which includes astounding new aiming and shooting method) joins a complete retooling of even the most simple GTA options. Do not worry though, they haven’t jettisoned the series effortless playability or relaxed gameplay, they have just made it better.

As an example, at anyplace in the game, now you can ‘flip off’ passers by (or even your own allies). The NPC on the receiving end of this vulgarity will respond in a variety of different ways, depending on the stipulated character data and also the area that they happen to be in.

However, for all those of you vicious tyrants out there, do not despair. GTA hasn’t turned into a sensitive feely digital nature documentary, or some kind of socially aware cautionary story about not flipping people off in public. Oh no (far from it, in reality). The Grand theft auto series has always been about the dark side of urban drama, the grim and gritty truth of life in the mean streets of our world’s great urban expansion projects (well, that and running grannies over in Land Rovers, anyhow). Grand theft auto 5 isn’t different, in the latest instalment, you will find all the blood, guts, gore, massacre and wanton destruction you have come to demand from this franchise. All that and far, much more…
